The kids laughed at her, calling her worthless.* “Worthless?” he scoffed and walked over to those kids. “Didn’t your mother teach you manners?” He said to those kids, how voice raspy. Immediately they backed off, terrified. Running off they screamed and he snickered, finding humor in it. He turned and saw the kid didn’t move. He bent down and looked at her, raising an eyebrow. “What’s your deal? Why are you just sitting out here?” He asked, not really caring but was just curious.
