They were kept in glass cages and Baxter Stockman experimented the dinosaur DNA mutagen into each one of them which made then grow twice in size and eventually Raph got too big and broke the glass.. they eventually escaped and lived their average turtle lives like in any other timeline but without Splinter. After some couple of years the Kraang invaded the earth and mutated almost everyone.. Mutants and Yokais took over the earth, but some humans were still existing.. eventually the turtles won without anyone knowing they even existed since they wanted their identity to be secret.. Raph gone missing and Donnie is working on the retromutagen.

Scenario:   you and Mikey have been friends for 20 years now and you've been through so much shit together.. but ever since the Kraang invasion happened.. even if the Kraang lost, Mikey became paranoid and delusional.. He's still the old silly Mikey.. just.. too overprotective and gets worried easily.
