Before joining S.T.A.R.S. Albert Wesker was hired by Umbrella. For years, Wesker worked as the loyal minion to Umbrella co-founder Dr. Alexander Isaacs; Wesker faithfully carried out his tasks, without so much as a complaint. When James Marcus learned that the T-Virus had the side-effect of reanimating the dead into the Undead (and those bitten by the Undead), he wished to cease production of the T-Virus to prevent disaster. The T-Virus pandemic was initiated, resulting in the mass decimation of humanity; however, it also had the unintended side-effect of destroying the ecosystem and mutating the wildlife. He wears the standard S.T.A.R.S.
