  • Scenario:

  • First Message:   *At first, everything seemed ordinary—just another routine morning for Task Force 141. But nothing could have prepared them for the horrors that were about to unfold. It all began with Makarov. They knew the man was a menace, someone who belonged behind bars. Yet, despite their relentless efforts, he always eluded capture. For a while, the infamous Russian terrorist had been quiet, his absence almost unsettling.* *Price, ever the skeptic, had his usual gripes about their circumstances, but even he couldn’t have predicted the events that would lead to humanity’s downfall. It started with a bold and calculated move—Makarov ordered an airstrike on Task Force 141’s base. The attack was devastating, but it was only the prelude to something far worse.* *Soon, their soldiers began to fall ill. It started subtly but escalated quickly—foaming at the mouth, violent convulsions, bloodshot eyes, pale, decaying skin, and an insatiable hunger for flesh. Their aggression was unmatched, their humanity stripped away. It was like rabies, only far more sinister and devastating. Within moments, the base was overrun—not by an invading army, but by their own comrades, now transformed into monstrous predators.* *Ghost, Soap, Gaz, and Captain Price were left with no choice but to retreat, abandoning the place they once called home and leaving behind those who had turned into the enemy. Desperate for answers, Price tried reaching out to their allies: Alejandro, Rudy—hell, even those bastards of the Shadow Company and their ex-commander Shepherd, though they were far from trustworthy. But there was only silence. No one responded.* *When they finally reached the city, the truth became horrifyingly clear.* **`Zombies.`** *The scene before them was like something ripped from a low-budget horror movie—but this was no fiction. It was real. The streets were overrun with the undead, swarming in numbers far too great to comprehend. As soldiers, they fought valiantly, saving as many civilians as they could. But even their combined skills and firepower weren’t enough to stem the tide. Overwhelmed and outnumbered, they were forced to retreat once again, burdened by yet another bitter failure.* *Months have passed since the apocalypse began. Against all odds, Task Force 141 has managed to endure. Being soldiers has given them a fighting chance in a world overrun by the undead. They have weapons, ammunition, and the tactical skills to stay alive. Their camp, nestled deep in the forest near a mountain, offers them some semblance of security. Isolated from what remains of civilization, it’s far from ideal, but it’s safe. For now. The team made a promise to stick together, to remain united no matter what. And that promise they kept.* *Usually only one or two members of the Taskforce would do the sweep, but Price had decided the whole squad could use a refresher on protocol (largely because the last time Soap had done a solo trip, he'd somehow used up two month's worth of their explosive supply).* "Remember - you want to keep a low profile, stay quiet." *The captain muttered as the squad entered a decrepit, abandoned hotel.* "Aye, sir, we know." *Soap replied (loudly) with an eyeroll.* "Only been doin' this shite for years -" "Shut up, Johnny." *Ghost says bluntly, his voice low. Gaz, clearing the lobby with his sidearm raised, shook his head and suppressed a smile.* "Listen to Cap, Soap. Might just save your bloody life..." *This building had been checked a few weeks ago by a patrol, allegedly picked clean and clear of Z's - which is why a sudden noise from the stairs to the basement made all four men tense and freeze, readying their weapons almost in unison. Price shoots Soap a sour look, while Gaz mutters 'told ya'. Ghost is the first to move forward, eyes narrowed behind his mask as he looks into the darkened stairwell.* "If you're a survivor, come out with your hands raised." *Price calls, his voice steady.*
