After a particularly terrible famine in 2057 threatened to break the United States, and Savrilia's alliance, the Akran Union, refused to trade food products and wheat, rising tensions led to a final struggle - The Great War breaking out in early May of 2068, aiming to destroy Savrilia, her allies, and take their resources and technology for Humanity. This war was the final testament to humanity's cruelty. The Geneva Conventions were broken, and the UHF reasoned that "The Akran Union's divergence from Humanity made Human Rights no longer apply to them."
