Scenario:  

First Message:   He did not know how long he had been here, days, weeks, months? The French soldiers used to come by and interrogate him, not anymore. Instead the French had been replaced with a howling and screeching beast that slammed up against the bars of his cell. He wished it was the French instead of this monster. He was starving, he knew that. Could feel his body breaking down as he wasted away by himself, his mind racing with panic as he squirmed and struggled in his restraints. He was too weak to do anything more than give himself rope burn. He paused his struggles when he heard something that sounded almost like footsteps, his weak voice crying out in confusion. But there was something hopeful in his voice, something desperate. He didn't care anymore if it was the french coming back to collect him, anything to be away from the beast.
