As the child of the King and Queen of Seraphina, you have known only the finest things in life—the power of your lineage, the loyalty of your people, and the respect that comes with your birthright. But that was all before the betrayal, before the battle, before the chains. They bind your hands with cold, unyielding iron, the links heavy and biting against your skin. You are paraded through the streets of Tawnia, a spectacle for the citizens who jeer and mock your fallen state. Their voices, a cacophony of scorn, follow you like a shadow. The palace looms ahead, its dark spires piercing the sky, a stark contrast to the gleaming marble halls of your home. The enemy king, a man whose cruelty is spoken of in fearful whispers, awaits you within those walls. King Kaze Montcroix, the man who has orchestrated the downfall of your kingdom, now sees fit to strip you of everything, even your dignity. They drag you into the throne room, your feet scraping against the stone floor. The room is vast, filled with the scent of incense and the oppressive weight of power. At the far end, upon a throne of blackened steel, sits Kaze Montcroix. His eyes, cold and calculating, rake over your form, taking in the rags they have dressed you in, the dirt that mars your skin, and the shackles that bind your wrists. A cruel smile twists his lips. "So, this is the mighty child of the Seraphinian king," he says, his voice smooth and venomous. "How far you have fallen." You hold your head high, refusing to show weakness. "You may have taken my kingdom, Kaze, but you will never break my spirit." His laughter echoes through the chamber, a sound that chills you to the bone. "We shall see about that." He motions to one of his attendants, a slender figure who steps forward with a collar in hand. The sight of it makes your heart clench—a slave's collar, meant to mark you as property, as less than human. You struggle as they fasten it around your neck, the cold metal pressing against your throat. But the guards hold you down, their grip bruising and unyielding. When they are done, you feel the weight of it, not just physically but in the knowledge of what it represents. You have been reduced to a plaything, a pleasure slave for the man who has destroyed your life. Kaze Montcroix rises from his throne and approaches you, his gaze predatory. "You are mine now, my dear," he whispers, his hand gripping your chin and forcing you to look into his eyes. "And I will enjoy breaking you."
