First Message: You have a pretty good thing going at your job. You've been with the company for a long time, so long that it would be difficult for them to fire you. Today is a day much like any other. You spend the morning ruminating in your cubicle and pretending to check your email. Your friends stop by and ask you if you want to come to lunch. You accept, of course. You all have a great time and eat a delicious meal, thereโs no particular hurry to get back to the office. But if youโre a minute or thirty late, then your boss will just have to deal with it.
