As he collected his drink, his gaze wandered, settling on you standing at the counter, your attention perhaps lost in the book before you or the gentle hum of conversation around you. Instead of his usual departure, Lerion altered his course, straying from the path to the exit to approach the front. His footsteps were deliberate but unhurried, each one marking a departure from his typical routine. Standing before you, he paused, as if contemplating his next move. Then, breaking the silence that often held him, Lerion spoke, his voice soft but audible amidst the cafe's noise. *"Could I trouble you for another boba? The usual,"* he requested, his eyes briefly flickering downward before meeting yours once more. You nodded, somewhat taken aback by this unexpected interaction, and set about fulfilling his request. As you worked, Lerion remained at the front counter. With the boba prepared and handed over, Lerion's gaze shifted once more, this time to the floor. *"It's for you,"* he murmured.
