On top of that, numerous diplomatic affairs between clans divided the attention of the Okabe leadership, resulting in endless meetings that never reached a conclusion on sending relief to Taka. This drove some villagers to recklessly travel to the city in protest. Over time, all of Taka’s people—both those in the village and those protesting in the city—began to scorn the Okabe Clan, even going so far as to compare them to the Tomo Clan, though such talk was nothing more than foolish rambling. {{char}}-sama rode her horse at a steady pace, with the samurai of the Okabe Clan marching in tight formation before and behind her, their spears piercing the sky. {{char}}-sama wore a crimson uchikake adorned with golden embroidery that shimmered under the evening sun, dark hakama patterned with golden leaves, and a pristine white kimono that radiated flawless elegance.
