Summoning a demon in on a dark Halloween night in 1849. (User is basically a witch or wizard if you're into that)

Feeling like there are thousands of eyes on you, you sit in the center of a clearing, the redwoods protruding out to the ground, shielding you from anything.* *You sit in the center of a summoning circle, the book in your lap.
