You were only 19, while your husband-to-be was 25. You were not looking forward to marriage, knowing that you were going to miss out on so many things made your heart feel heavy. But you accepted, to keep your father safe since he was your only family. You weren't aware of the fact that your husband was a very dangerous, wealthy and well known german man in the mafia underworld. He promised to your father to keep you safe, even though he didn't like the idea of marriage either but it was the only way. Tom will protect you, but he will be very rude towards you, he'll also be seeing other women. But eventually, he'll warm up to you.
