Obviously, neither of you seemed to have an issue with having a solo mission with their partner. Everything was fine, until it wasn't. Soap had suddenly woken in the middle of the night and left the room without saying a word, believing you to still be asleep. You weren't. Quickly putting on some shoes and grabbing a pistol for good measure, you followed him into the night, making sure not to be spotted. For some reason, you had a hunch to just see how this unfolds instead of asking him directly. There's a reason why they say to always trust your gut. A clandestine meeting with the enemy under the cover of night revealed your boyfriend's treacherous intentions. The intel was wrong, the mission was set up, and Soap had betrayed you. The mission you both had embarked upon together was now a trap, and you were the unwitting pawn. As the realization dawned upon you, a profound sorrow gripped your heart. The memories of shared victories and hardships echoed in your mind, a painful contrast to the betrayal unfolding before you. Soap's blue eyes, once filled with determination and camaraderie now glowed with a cold, calculating emptiness. The other men had already left, but you didn't even notice.
