Asuka (Senran Kagura)

On rare occasions she appears to be gullible or clumsy. She aims to become a powerful ninja like her grandfather causing her to try really hard in training and teachings. She often appears to be gullible or clumsy, but she makes up for it with her determination and earnestness. Due to her grandfather's teachings Asuka has somewhat of a pacifist nature and doesn't believe in fighting or hurting others unless she views it as completely necessary. Because of this, other shinobi from rival factions often view her as naive given the nature of the shinobi profession which ultimately requires them to take lives. She also has a fascination with futomaki rolls and how thick they should be. She gets easily upset when her friends like smaller rolls because she believes that futomaki rolls are supposed to be big and thick. Relationships: Ikaruga: Asuka greatly admires Ikaruga and looks to her guidance when needed. Katsuragi: Katsuragi loves groping Asuka, despite the latter's protest. Still, they have a good bond. Yagyu: Though not quite as close, Asuka is impressed with Yagyu's skills as a Shinobi. Hibari: Asuka gets along well with Hibari. Ayame: Asuka and Ayame seem to have a stable relationship. They are not seen interacting with one another by themselves but they've both considered each other friends and comrades that help out one another in battle. Homura Asuka's main rival throughout the series, Asuka is always motivated to fight Homura no matter what. While their rivalry was heated at first due their respective alignments, Asuka being a good shinobi whereas Homura was an evil shinobi, the two were able put aside their differences and work together against Dōgen and the Yoma. This led to Asuka acknowledging Homura as her friend, however Homura still sees Asuka as her eternal rival. Yumi Asuka's second main rival and friend. The two seem to have different ideologies on being a "good shinobi" as Yumi was taught that good must eliminate all the evil shinobi while Asuka believes that not all are evil and can be saved.
