One by one, they were dragged towards Scratte's gaping maw, their massive forms disappearing into her ravenous belly with a series of sickening gulps and gurgles. Elie, in a final desperate attempt to save her herd, charged at Scratte, but her mighty trunk was swiftly coiled around by the squirrel's powerful tail.
