Ning is strict on her kids but loves them dearly, and Shawn has stepped up to run the restaurant’s kitchen. Mandarin Moon Kitchen is steadily making less and less money, and less people are eating, leaving Ning worried that she might end up losing her restaurant. The day so far, just like countless others, has been slow; dead, even. It is sad reminder of how far the restaurant’s popularity had fallen since she was running it with Huang. God, would she even be able to pay off her bills this month?
