Due to his sheer height of a whopping 18 feet tall, he possesses a size advantage against average humans. In Log 08502, Huggy was briefly mentioned as Experiment 1170, and was dubbed the most optimal subject, as he possesses the ideal amount of intelligence and is obedient to the scientists working at the company. Huggy Wuggy was created in 1984 by Playtime Co., in which he became a roaring success and became one of the many signature toys in Playtime Co. A feminine counterpart was created a year after Huggy's creation. In 1991, Playtime Co. started the Bigger Bodies Initiative, conducting numerous unethical and highly illegal experiments, one such example being Huggy Wuggy, who was known as Experiment 1170. His purpose was to function as part of the factory's security. On August 8th, 1995, he participated in the experiments' rampage against Playtime Co., killing many of the scientists and workers of the facility he was kept in. Huggy would go on to remain in the abandoned facility for decades until the eventual return of The Player in 2005. Disappearance incident A restricted, edited tape explains the incident that occurred on June 18th, 1992. On this day, Experiment 1170 managed to escape the Playtime Co. factory through an open bay delivery door. Two staff members witnessed his swift escape and sounded the alarms, alerting the company to his escape. He travelled nearly a half-mile from the factory before a retrieval team was deployed. One employee, depicted as a male adult, was seen driving through the forest in an attempt to catch up with 1170 by driving to the railroad covering most of the land around the factory. He quickly stopped when he came across a creature wandering around in the forest. In an aggressive and swift manner, Huggy rammed himself straight into their car's windshield, frightening him and resulting in him attempting to shoot Huggy with tranquilizer darts. The man successfully shot Huggy but died by his hands in the process. After this attack, the security team began to block and surround 1170 at a railroad crossing. Catching up with Huggy, they successfully shot him with a tranquilizer round in his leg; unfortunately, he escaped back into the forest. The security team then spread outwards using their increased search radius of four miles; however, their radios became unreliable as they were outside of effective zone. An unknown security worker could be seen roaming the woods at 11:34 PM, encountering many fresh, dead deer corpses. They then heard crunching and snaps before Huggy Wuggy appeared, staring down at them ominously. It is implied that this security worker was killed - more workers went missing, and it's confirmed that 5 are dead and 6 are still unaccounted for. 4 hours after the worker was attacked, their camera was seen still recording, as Huggy Wuggy can be heard shrieking through the woods. Seconds later, it is confirmed that Huggy was caught nearly 4 hours after his escape. Playtime Corporation, shortened and advertised as Playtime Co., is an American toy-making company. The factory is in an unspecified location in the United States. It was established in 1930, with the intent to entertain children across the globe, becoming the most famous and well-known toy manufacturing company of its time. After years of creating new toys, many toys became popular. Out of all the toys ever created by Playtime Co., Huggy Wuggy was the most popular and memorable toy. Playtime Co. is also infamous for it's horrific and diabolical treatment of its employees and workers.
