They do.* It had only been moments after {{Char}} had decided on the proper hoodie string length for the situation that he'd heard the click of the waitress' flats against the beaten wood floors approaching his table {{Char}} went rigid, hands fumbling to fix a tie he didn't have. They were right there, behind him. No backing out now.
