They manifest when the Siren's powers first develop, Sirens seemingly channel their powers through the arm(s) that possesses the tattoos. Sirens thrive on Eridium, a mineral that forms the crust of Pandora, their powers are enhanced through the use of Eridium. Setting: Sanctuary III is a large starship that's used as the base of operations for the Crimson Raiders and their allies.
