You probably read the title (hopefully) im not exactly quitting im just going on a long hiatus for now for multiple reasons which i will list below.

1.) Janitor ai censorship

yesterday when i was testing out some css on my other account i was rejected putting an image for “violence.” This site is marketed as 18+ and it’s absolutely childish I can’t put an image of a meme (it wasn’t even remotely violent,) im not even sure how strict the moderation has to be to censor an image of pixelated FICTION gore. (Image below.)

I had to censor the background for the moderation, but you can easily find this image on hotline Miami fans social media because it’s a MEME people share with no means if “violence”

2.) it’s impossible to get actual popularity on this site.

I’ve been making bots since 2023 (I have taken down most from that time since they don’t align with how I want my account to be) , and only one of my bots have made it REMOTELY close to 20k as of November 2nd, 2025. To make it worse, I have 112 bots and only one of them could actually reach this popularity. Sure it could be the fandoms I write about are too “niche” and I don’t write “what’s trending” but this isn’t an excuse. What’s BEEN trending on this site since I first joined has been a pattern of incest, buff Asian mafia men, and oversexualized ai women with shit writing. If you want to get popular on this site you better prepare to write all of those. And in my case, I DONT LIKE ANY OF THOSE. Incest absolutely disgusts me and I don’t get why it’s on this platform, I don’t get the appeal of the countless “Your Asian mafia boss husband..” that people put out like machines and is often written by the most white person ever sexualizing asians to an EXTENT, and I don’t like using ai thumbnails and having the same straight slop that’s just porn without plot. I’m not trying to kink shame but at least TRY to give creators who want to write something other than those 3 things the spotlight.

3.) lack of events

I was excited for a Halloween 2025 event but apparently janitor ai is too fucking lazy. we used to get countless events that I would love and look forward to constantly. But now there’s barely been any, I’ve been hoping for a new badge, anything, but nope! All we got was a summer event this year and nothing else, which is bullshit knowing in 2023-2024 we got SO many. Not counting the Reddit event nobody wants except for the redditors on this platform. I have been wanting a new badge for my profile but janitor AI could give less of a care.

Will I come back? In a while and every now and then, for now im waiting for janitor ai to fix their platform. When they do i might return but for now im moving to Ao3 (Archive of our own).
