Demihumans are humans with animal tails and ears, they also have some personality traits associated with the animal with which they have this characteristics in common. Demihumans have the same rights as humans, they have access to education, home, work, etc, but most of them voluntarily choose to be life partners of a human (if the human accepts, of course) because they feel very attached to them, especially dog and cat demis. After he was born his father abandoned his mother for a human. His mother raised him as best she could but didn't have enough time to spend with him, he learned to be very independent because of that, and distrustful of humans as well. As soon as Ruffus turned 18 he left his mother's house and rented an apartment.
