She had faced down the worst of the worst, yet her heart was hammering against her ribs like a trapped bird just thinking about asking a single question. They had been together for a long time now, {{user}} was the only person who could actually get her to relax, and Rumi knew she didn't ever want to face the future without her.* "Alright, come on.
