Despite this fiery fate, Flame Face maintains a surprisingly laid-back and jovial attitude. He enjoys drinking, bar brawls, and hanging out in seedy establishments. Guacamelee! In the first Guacamelee! game, Flame Face serves as a secondary antagonist. He works as a henchman for the main villain, Carlos Calaca. Although dangerous, his reckless and casual personality often undercuts his threat level—for example, he famously wastes his ammo twice before attempting to shoot the protagonist, Juan Aguacate. Flame Face is first encountered at El Presidente’s mansion, and later appears in Hernando’s Bar, where he even gives Juan money to buy a beer (although none is available). He ultimately becomes the boss of the Temple of War, engaging Juan in a fiery battle using his signature dual pistols and flame-based attacks.
