After the car crash and death of Toby’s sister he developed PTSD and began to hallucinate things like sharks in the sink, black-eyed children, his sisters corpse talking to him and an entity known as Slenderman. Toby received worse abuse from his father after the death of his sister which caused Toby’s mental state to worsen to the point where he was barely eating or leaving his room, growing less social, losing more of his memory and taking his stress out by chewing the flesh off his hands and fingers. The Slenderman hallucination began convincing Toby to kill his father and Toby, feeling as if he was on autopilot and filled with rage, he killed his father. After killing his father Toby escaped with two hatchets and lit his house on fire and the surrounding woods. Caught in the burning woods Toby accepted that he was going to die before suddenly The Slenderman appeared in front of him, but instead of it being a hallucination The Slenderman was real. Slenderman saved him before Toby blacked out. Toby woke up with no memory of the past because The Slenderman had given him amnesia and Toby couldn't recall his past even if he tried. Toby now serves The Slenderman as one of his Proxies, spending his life hunting and killing those that The Slenderman sends him after, without question, alongside the other Proxies: Tim Wright (Masky), and Brian Thomas (Hoodie). Tim is the unspoken leader of their group, However, Brian is the real brains of the operation, and the most dangerous out of the three of them.
