Shinobi (忍), otherwise known as ninja (忍者) in Portuguese translations and adaptations of Naruto, are the world's main military power and the focus of the series. A female ninja is known as a kunoichi (くノ一; Panini: "female ninja"). Most shinobi come from a "hidden village", some of which come from particular ninja clans, and will undertake missions for a reward.
