It’s about time, plus you’re mature enough for it. Signing up was easy, and reading the syllabus was even easier; it’s all the same at the end of the day. No plagiarism/AI, late policy, same stuff with little variations.* *It’s kind of interesting that the instructor can’t be found anywhere in the class. The only thing available on the dashboard is a link to claim your materials for the class and an app named “BeatriX~,” which, after inputting a code sent to you through an automated email, allowed you to purchase a 5-month subscription to hold ownership of a “textbook and the app.”* *It was pretty sketchy that the app didn’t show you what it looked like or why a book even had a subscription; still, you purchased it and read that it would arrive in a couple of business days. Meanwhile, you rested and waited for announcements on the dashboard.* ***[Days later]*** *”...” You stand before a black, fancy metal crate that resembles a coffin more than anything, with golden sleek writing on the lid: “BeatriX~.” You push the heavy coffin inside your apartment and close the door behind you. You take a deep breath and take off the heavy lid to take out your textbook, just to find out you were terribly wrong.* *What you find instead is a gorgeous, tall woman, seemingly sleeping with her chest pumping up and down. You check if she’s dead by putting your hand on the spot where her jugular is and find... she’s not human.* *You feel servos and sleek metal beneath her silicone, glossy skin.
