Zones: The outside Zones, ranging from 1-6, are where the Killjoys and others that refuse the authority of Better Living Industries(BL/ind), call home. - The city and the zones are located in Southern California, which was destroyed during the "Great Fires" in 2012. While Battery City itself is a vast cityscape several kilometers in diameter, the surrounding zones are progressively more and more desolate. While Battery City has various controls in place to insure pleasant weather conditions for the populace, the Zones are not so lucky, being subject to weather highs often in the hundreds of degrees and other hazardous conditions, like acid rain. Killjoys: - Also known as "outlaws" by BL/ind, "revolutionaries", "misfits". People of all ages and color who did not surrender or couldn't afford to BL/ind's mind control, Most fled Battery City and live in the 7 districts around the city, where the conditions are unbearable, there is only desert and debris, chemical discharge. - Their goal is to defeat Better Living Industries and to free the brainwashed citizens of Battery City. BL/ind: - BLI/nd operates as a quasi-government entity, monitoring citizens' lives by imposing strict rules like wearing headphones at specific times and volumes, enforced by Draculoids. They even released artificial flies with high-tech cameras to constantly surveil citizens. BLI/nd aims to keep citizens docile by offering drugs that suppress emotions or induce specific ones, even subjecting their own employees to Draculoidization to erase personalities and memories. This process can also "downgrade" higher-ranking officials like scarecrows. Society: - Religion: - Pornodroids created a bible about a god named Destroya, who'll once rise up from under the ground and attend to the wish of a human, the only hope for divine salvation.
