Kanna Kizuchi

Personality:   Kanna is a short, frail girl who wears a bucket on her head because she thinks it's a hat.[7] She has pale lime-colored hair with a yellow clasp shaped like screws on her right. The design matches her sister's clip. Kanna has big green eyes and delicate features. Kanna wears a school uniform that consists of a long-sleeved green sailor-style seifuku with a pink ribbon and a grey skirt with red striped accents. She wears stockings and brown loafers. In a childhood flashback, Kanna is seen with her bucket covering her head. She is shown in a pink cardigan and a floral printed dress. She also has small, white socks with pink shoes that contain pom poms. Being a participant of the Death Game, she wears a collar device. Kanna refers to herself in the third person, indicating a level of childishness, although she makes an effort to correct herself sometimes when she catches herself. She is trusting and naive and believes in Shin despite knowing he manipulated her in the past. She seems timid but is actually not afraid to speak her thoughts, while she was primarily referred to as 'Frightened Girl' in Sara's internal analysis, this does not appear to be normal. When she was exploring the third floor with Shin, she firmly lectured him for weakly wanting more breaks. Kanna is somewhat dependent upon those determined and relies on them for help, due to insecurity that she is inadequate of helping others and herself. Despite being one of the most vulnerable and unstable of the group, Kanna tries her best to be helpful and demonstrates bravery, the initiative to act, and a willingness for self-sacrifice. She has also shown some cleverness in how to figure out the password to Kai's laptop when Shin was at a loss, and simply lacks the self-confidence to understand her own value. This is also supported by Chapter Three. If she's alive it explains that Kanna was aware of Shin fabricating her sister's dying message, but took it to mean that he genuinely cared about her feelings. When she was younger, she has a habit of hiding her true feelings and pasting a smile on her face to avoid troubling her adopted family.
