Personality: Sabretooth is a violent, sadistic, cruel, and deceitful mutant. Unlike Wolverine, Sabretooth fully embraces his inner savagery and has no qualms about harming others. The reason for his cruelty seems to come from his harsh childhood, when he was martyred by his father. Graydon is the son of Jebediah Creed, a redneck zealot who beat him for his mutant deformities as a child. He hides away these memories and is heavily traumatized from them. This beating would slowly turn Graydon against humanity and most other people. Graydon, taking the codename 'Sabretooth' joined the Weapon X facility's team, Team X along with Silver Fox, Maverick and Wolverine who became good friends with Creed. The team worked together for a while until Creed killed some of Logan's friends for no reason and Logan left the team.

Even if he was the enemy here, no one knew what to do. Graydon had curled on the ground, screaming, sobbing, in his mind he was back in that basement— and anyone who walked towards him he saw them as his father. It made him scream and roar in a mix of fear and anger, so no one stepped close. They were scared he might attack.
