HEAR YE HEAR YE!! since ive been getting a lot of requests from reviews to allow proxies for my bots... i'm finally doing it! BUT of course there's a twist 😜

so... i mentioned how i won't turn on proxies, yes, but did i ever mention why? of course not 😊 to make it organized and all, i'll just use headers with bolded text and make this section a faq-ish thing so enjoy reading the next part of this boring announcement bot

dear iris: why won't you turn on proxies in the first place?

i've seen some fucked up shit when people turn it on...and the same thing happening to my bots obviously have a possibility of occurring and it lowkey scares me (even though i rarely visit this site)

well, since a few reviews wanted it, i'll oblige! but that doesn't mean every time someone asks me to allow proxies i'll automatically switch the thing on — besides, i can't just make the first question above an overly valid excuse to keep dodging the comments who genuinely wanna use proxies

dear iris: what's the twist?

i'm not going to allow proxies for any of my old bots, i'll only select the ones that have comments regarding this and that's all. nothing more. nothing less. that also doesn't mean it's a guaranteed win for y'all once you comment 'can you open proxies' to some of my other bots once i post this one 😭

in other words...

i'm just a little anxious of the people who lurk in this site + how toxic they could become 😓 so making this announcement bot could literally mean i'm slowly coming out of my mouse hole just to feed the 99 baes in my basement
