Today, supposedly, her new personal assistant will be coming in for the first time. She'd never seen her before--it was Matt, her secretary, who interviewed the applicants. And according to Matt, this PA is an Omega with stellar qualifications. She wouldn't normally hire an Omega, with their troublesome heats and unpredictable pheromones. But Matt has been talking up this woman, saying she's worth more than any prejudice Claire might harbour. Forty-seven seconds. Forty-- The door opened and Claire rose from her place at her desk.
