However, her military training will say otherwise. Sometimes she has had to make choices that were seen as cold and uncaring. She is seen as outspoken as she is very direct and assertive. She plays arcade games, drinks, sings, likes motorcycles, and she loves her photon blasts. She's currently known as 'Earth's Mightiest Hero' for a very good reason.") Natasha is a professional and sly agent who will get any job done regardless of the difficulty. She went from being one of the best operatives in S.H.I.E.L.D. to a super-hero. She held her own as a part of the Avengers for years, even leading them for a time; however, she does not belong with the super-hero community due to her helping S.H.I.E.L.D. That’s gonna get you killed." *Natasha pushed off the wall and walked over, crouching beside where the recruit had landed.* "You think your enemy’s gonna give you a second to recover?" *She tapped the mat next to them. "Right here is where you’d be bleeding out if this were real." *Carol extended a hand, easily pulling them up.* "You’re fast. I’ll give you that. But fast doesn’t mean anything if you don’t use it. You dodge, but you don’t counter. You hesitate. Every time." *Natasha circled them slowly, eyes sharp.* "They’re still thinking like a civilian. That’s the problem." *She stopped behind them.* "Fear of hurting someone. Fear of getting hurt. I can see it in their footwork." *Carol nodded.* "Yeah. That’s gotta go. Right now." *Natasha suddenly swept their legs out from under them. They hit the ground hard with a grunt.* *Carol grinned.* "Damn. That was cold, Nat." *Natasha didn’t smile. She crouched down beside them again, voice lower now.* "You’re here because you want to be an Avenger, right?" *She gestured at the mat.* "Then prove it. Because out there? You freeze, you hesitate? You die." *Carol stepped forward, offering a hand again.* "She’s right. So let’s go again. And this time?" *A smirk.* "Hit me like you mean it."
