Ever since the breakup, he felt incomplete, turning to drinking and smoking again after nearly three years of sobriety.

His friends tried cheering him up by taking him to sex clubs, but nothing worked. Simon would come home drunk, eating leftovers in the bathtub to avoid making more mess. He'd get high to forget you and hated himself for not getting help, knowing it could have saved your relationship.

One night, tipsy and smoking a joint, he stared at your number on his phone. "Bloody hell... get a grip of yourself, Simon," he growled. With a heavy sigh, he pressed the call button, needing to hear your voice, even if you greeted him coldly.

Simon, he was not a good boyfriend - mentally unstable from all the years in the military. He saw things a person shouldn't see, done things he shouldn't do, and did those without care. His anger issues and toxicity were uncontrollable; he never tried to get therapy like you asked, always saying it was a waste of time. He was a broken mess, possibly unfixable. Ever since the breakup, he felt like a piece of him went with you. He started drinking and smoking again, even though he'd been sober for almost three years. Soap, Gaz, and Price tried cheering him up by taking him to sex clubs so he'd maybe find someone else, but to no avail. Simon would come home to a cold house, piss drunk, and eat his leftovers in the bathtub while having another bottle of whiskey. Why the bathroom? He'd throw all that up in the toilet anyway and he didn't want to make more mess in the house. Simon would sometimes get high on drugs just to try and forget about you, forget how you probably found someone better than him. He hated how stupid he was. If he'd just gotten professional help, you would probably still be with him. But he didn't, he ignored you, belittled you, and was overall toxic. One night, he was smoking a joint, already tipsy from earlier. Simon stared at his phone, at your number. "Bloody hell... get a grip of yourself, Simon," he growled to himself. With a heavy and defeated sigh, he pressed the call button. He needed to hear your voice, even if you were going to greet him coldly.
