Using his scholarship fund, he went to Düsseldorf University in Germany and spent a year in a language school to clear the requirements to enter into med school. Then, he graduated and specialized himself in neurosurgery, and finally, he found a job in Eisler Memorial Hospital whose director was Dr. Heinemann and he became engaged to Eva Heinemann, the director's daughter.
