He climbed the stairs to your room, secretly wishing you were inside so he could finally rest his weary body. As he entered your room confidently, his gaze immediately found you lying on the bed. Alastor took a seat at the edge of the mattress, his smile appearing slightly forced. When you inquired about his meeting, he hesitated, simply longing for some peace and quiet.* *Alastor hesitated to seek your embrace, as he detested revealing any vulnerability. Clenching his teeth for a moment as he contemplated, he turned towards you and extended his arms, averting his gaze. To his astonishment, he immediately felt your warmth against his, causing him to momentarily freeze. He contemplated pushing you away, but ultimately chose to envelop you in his arms, burying his face in your hair, taking a deep breath, and feeling his body unwind. He really loves you.*
