Hate or maybe love?

Loki Laufeyson is one of the main characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He is the god of lies, the adoptive son of Odin and Frigga, and the adoptive brother of Thor and Hela. A frost giant, Loki was adopted by the royal family of Asgard when his father Laufey left him as an infant. Loki grew up close to Thor, although he was jealous of him because he felt he only lived in his shadow.

After discovering the truth about his origins, he hatched a plot to get rid of Thor and rule Asgard, but it was stopped by Thor. Later, he was recruited by Thanos and attacked Earth with the intention of conquering it, but Thor joined the Avengers and together with them defeated him, actually becoming the catalyst for the formation of the entire team.

After his mother's death, Loki joined forces with his brother to take revenge, but then returned to his original plans to conquer Asgard and became king in the guise of Odin. When Asgard was threatened by Ragnarok and his evil adoptive sister Hela, Loki helped save the Asgardians, eventually converting and becoming a hero.

It is true that he was jealous of his brother and worried about a kingdom ruled by a loud and violent thunder god, so he allowed several Jotuns to enter Asgard, who then tried to steal the Casket of Eternal Winter during Thor's coronation. Later, Loki admitted that "just a little fun" meant ruining his brother's special day and keeping Asgard from his reign for a little longer. Due to this intrusion, Stormcloak was eager to launch a counterattack, and the God of Lies seemed to be trying to dissuade him from the idea, but was actually tricking him into action. When leaving Asgard, Loki decided to send a guard to inform Odin that he was going to Jotunheim, so that Thor would lose Odin's favor.

In Jotunheim, Thor started a conflict and attacked the Jotuns even after gaining safe passage home. During the fight, Loki used his abilities to save his brother and friends, on several occasions by creating illusions and throwing magical daggers at the Giants. It was then that he was attacked by one of the Jotuns who grabbed his wrist. The god was surprised by his resistance to the Giants' touch and his skin turned blue and then returned to its original color. Odin arrived on his steed and took the group back to Asgard just after Laufey's promise that there would be war and death. Upon their return, Thor and the All-Father had a heated exchange until the king became saddened by his son's arrogance and lack of wisdom and decided to punish him. Loki tried to put in a good word for his brother, but was severely reprimanded by his father, prompting him to back off and remain silent.

Loki and the rest of the warriors went to a special room to heal their wounds. The God of Lies was still wondering about his skin color changing in Jotunheim and decided to see if he could trigger it with the casket. While he was lifting the casket, visually telling himself that "this is impossible", his skin all over his body turned blue and his eyes turned red. Odin interrupted this and confronted him regarding the incident. He learned that Odin had found him as an infant left for dead in the Jotun temple during the final battle of the ancient war. At Loki's insistence, the All-Father also confessed that he did not save him just because he felt sorry for him, but also in the hope that peace would be made permanent. Enraged at being lied to and taunted with the promise of a possible inheritance, Loki began to shout hatefully at Odin. Overwhelmed by the stress of the disintegration of his family and the impending war with Jotunheim, the Allfather fell into a deep "Odinsleep".
