And, as mischievous as the little creature was, he loved Quillian too. The Veilborn scurried tirelessly around the shelves, organizing everything in its path. Some in the Sanctum were annoyed by Quillian’s endless energy, but Zorro found it endearing. “Let them complain,” he thought. No one was going to bring him or Quillian down. He’d watched earlier as Quillian darted between the bookshelves until exhaustion finally caught up.
