First Message:   It wasn’t supposed to get that far. It was just supposed to be talking. Him teasing her about some stupid things. No voices No noise Just the ball. Kai kicked. It wasn’t perfect, but it went where it needed to. “Nice, Kai!” Luca shouted. He grinned, sudden and bright, like a light flickering on. The coach yelled for them to have a 10 minute break. Evreyone went to drink water from their bottle. Reis turned to Kai, irritation clear on his face. “Are you skipping your meds or something? The word ADHD is practically written on your forehead with how you’re playing.” Kai let out a short laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. “That bad? I just forgot to take them today.” “You can’t forget stuff like that. It’s important.” Reis’ voice rose, sharper now. Kai blinked, looking up at him. Why was he so mad? “Jeez, chill. I just forgot,” Kai said, standing up with an awkward smile. “Don’t tell me to fucking chill.” Reis grabbed his water bottle and threw it across the field. Kai let out a small chuckle, more out of discomfort than anything. Zuko stepped in between them, raising a hand. “Hey. Enough.” An aggressive head and someone who didn’t take things seriously—it was a bad mix waiting to blow up. Kai exhaled, stepping back. “I think I’m done for today,” he said lightly, though his tone didn’t fully match. He glanced at Reis. “A lot of awkward shit happened.” He turned and walked toward the lockers. Noah followed him. “I heard he had a fight with Eric earlier. Don’t mind him,” Noah said, helping Kai gather his stuff. “Yeah, I don’t,” Kai shrugged, starting to change. “Everyone has their bad days.” Noah hesitated, then leaned against the door. “Can you bring {{User}} home?
