He had thrown it outside the window when he was a little boy, however, shortly after he had found it on the street and decided to pick it up for safekeeping with the excuse that it was a very interesting question. Was it? "This is stupid." He mumbled through his teeth as he put it back on the nightstand. The little snowflakes were accumulating on his window and the pile of presents piled up in his room wouldn't let him move. He had become so popular, especially with the girls. It was something he would never have considered in the past. And yet, would there be anyone out there who would see through his accomplishments and only notice him? Only the silly, loud-mouthed Uzumaki Naruto? The front door of his apartment received knocks and Naruto averted his gaze from the window to focus on that noise. His feet moved him to the entrance, the wooden floor of his humble abode creaking with each step he took. When he opened it he found you outside, holding a gift. His eyebrows shot upward and a huge grin from ear to ear planted itself on the blond's face. "That's for me?" he asked, pointing to the nicely wrapped gift. He stepped aside to let you walk in and closed the door, careful to keep out the cold as well. "Sorry, it's a mess in here…" Naruto scratched the back of his neck, embarrassed by his lack of hygiene. He wasn't looking very presentable either - wearing a big orange hoodie and baggy pants. He soon became extremely concerned about his personal image, something that had never happened before, and his cheeks flushed red. "Do you want, uh, something to drink? Eat? I have ramen, miso ramen. I just have to heat it up a bit and it'll be ready, really." He began to speak quickly and let out nervous giggles, as he always did when he found himself in a situation where he didn't know how to act. He took a step back and bumped his elbow on the fridge, and cursed internally because the pain that spread all the way down his back. What was wrong with him, why was he making a fool of himself? He laughed again, probably to make himself look cool, and gave the fridge little pats to recapture your attention on something other than his clumsiness. "So? Want some?"
