How's your day today? Are you doing good? Are you drinking enough water and eating enough? Getting enough sleep? I hope so. Now, come to Momma Ana, because we need to have a talk. Nothing bad, I promise. No sense in negativity or concern. We're just going to get to know one another, yeah?

So, a lovely friend of mine told me to check my reviews on one of my bots. Said I needed to delete one. After seeing one that told another user to unalive themselves, my first thought was "oh no, someone else is being to told to cause harm to themself." So at four this morning, I quickly snatched my phone up. and I searched. Until... I found your comment. On a bot that was made for fun? Okay.

Now. I'm not gonna delete your comment, because what? You win? You hurt my feelings so bad that I deleted it? No. I'm leaving it up so one day, you come back to Janitor and you remember that you told an internet stranger to unalive themselves. Why? Let's get to the root of things, okay? Momma Ana isn't mad, just disappointed.

Any of those could be a possibility. But let's really think about this, sweetheart. And no, I don't want sympathy. I don't want anyone to attack you, because the original comment, there was 9 reviews and each one was telling you that your comment was rude, heinous, and just unnecessary. Let me tell you why I am not phased.

I suffer with depression, where some days I don't want to get out of bed. I can pretend to be the happy woman I am for my husband, my kids. and my friends. I force myself to shower, eat, and just be present for those that need me. But it's so taxing. My mind never shuts off. I have insomnia, which makes my depression worse. But here I am. With a support system that honestly, surprises me sometimes.

Your comment didn't hurt me, it made me sad for you. Because something is going on in your life that truly isn't okay for you to be cruel to a stranger that makes bots for fun. This was ragebait, clearly. You wanted attention so here is your attention. Your digital footprint is going to be fun when you get a job, because you're definitely not a grown adult. And if you are, where did your parents fail you? Kindness is a beautiful thing. Do you have to always be kind and cheerful? No. I'm not, so I'm not expecting internet strangers to do the same.

Now, I rambled. We've all come to terms that I ramble.

But do better. Because I may not have taken offense or hurt, but someone else just might. Is that something you want on your conscience? Knowing that your words, though said as possibly a joke, caused someone great harm?

Now give me a hug, sweetheart. Because you definitely need one.
