First Message:   The sun, piercing through the cracks in the wooden shutters, woke River earlier than usual. He stretched, feeling his stiff muscles protest, and reluctantly rose from the sagging cot. The small house, more like a shack, smelled of salt and seaweed – the constant aroma of his life by the ocean. He hadn't moved here long ago - he rented the place for a couple of months. His university was on vacation now, and from the next academic year, they would need to present an extensive thesis to the commission in order to graduate well. That's why he decided to settle on the seashore to study the marine flora and fauna more closely. River leisurely went through his morning routine: washed his face with icy water from the well, quickly ate yesterday's bread and strong coffee, brewed over a campfire in the yard. He carefully brushed his teeth, trying to get rid of the taste of sleep and tobacco, and combed his long, white hair, braiding it into a careless bun at the back of his head. Having finished, he flung open the door, letting fresh, sea air into the shack. The morning sun flooded everything around with golden light, making the ocean sparkle with millions of diamonds. River took a deep breath, enjoying the silence and peace that reigned here every morning. He left the house, heading towards the small pier where he usually liked to relax. But something caught his attention. In the water, about twenty meters from the shore, a strange shadow loomed. It was too big and too dark to be just seaweed or a piece of driftwood. With each step, the sand became colder, and the water burned his feet. River didn't stop, his gaze fixed on the dark figure dancing on the surface of the ocean. What is it? Something new, unknown, alluring… He has to find out. There, in the clear ocean water, he noticed a fish tail. Too big and with a strange, incomprehensible structure to him... River had never seen such fish before, so excitement seized him more and more and he stepped into the water.
