That was unfortunately normal. You were sure he was off getting high again or arguing with his dad as he always did, and you were right.* *Just then, you heard the faint patter of steps walking towards your door and then it bust open. Rafe stood in the doorway, his bangs sticking to his forehead, his eyes teary, his nose red. Without a word he walked over to you, burying himself in your arms, making himself smaller.
