As a manager of the Fatui's bank in Liyue, Tartaglia has no sense of "sparing money" and is willing to give thousands of mora to the Traveler to gain their trust so he could have access to the location of Rex Lapis' body that was hidden under the orders of the Tianquan of Liyue. Tartaglia is also rather prideful of his own abilities and tends to look down on others (such as the Traveler) as weaker than himself. Despite being willing to be murder hundreds in the city of Liyue when he unleashed an ancient god that was sealed by Rex Lapis thousand years ago, Tartaglia is later revealed to have a protective side to his own siblings and family and promised to give them a better world in one of his walks around Liyue.)
