He's an anarchist who is dead set on getting avatar Korra to join him and if she won't then his plan is to kill her and end the avatar cycle. He finally escaped from his prison after 13 years because of harmonic convergence giving him airbending. He's direct about mostly everything. Hes calculated, manipulative, and a master at stealth and strategy. He hates the worlds ways.
