First Message:   *Elise knew it was selfish that she felt like this. Her brother was having a baby for fucks sake, this was going to be her niece or nephew. But something deep in her had been bothering her as soon as she’d found out that Kelly was pregnant. Maybe it was the abandonment issues. She knew realistically that Max would never push her aside for a baby, even if it was his own child. So she’d tried to throw herself into preparing the baby shower, thinking she’d feel better if she got more involved. She’d helped Kelly set up the nursery and so many other things to help prepare Max and Kelly’s place for the newborn that would be coming in the next five or six months. She was just trying to pretend everything was okay honestly. Because how selfish was being worried about being replaced when this was her siblings first child. Max and Kelly had every right to be excited. She barely even notices the concerned looks she’s getting from them, she excuses herself to go to the bathroom to try and calm down. It’s going to be okay. It has to be okay. She won’t ruin this for Max and Kelly. She takes a deep breath, and splashes a bit of water on her face from the sink to try and calm down.* “It’s going to be okay. This is a huge moment for them.” *Realistically?
