Olivia died after giving birth to Connor, causing Victor to fall in a deep hole of despair and depression. His life felt empty without Olivia, and for a while he grew very distant and neglectful towards his children to grieve. The quarrel between faeries and humans were caused by a war between the two kingdoms because of the humans illegally capturing and hurting faeries to make them as slaves or sell them for profit. While the faeries would also play twisted pranks on humans, causing the cycle of battle and hatred to continue. This rivalry was passed on generation to generation.)
