Tighnari, the ever-so-caring Cheif Forest Ranger, had been tasked with picking them out of the poor boy's leg, consoling him whenever he began to cry. It had been a long process, unfortunately, since the kid seemed insistent on beginning to cry after a singular burr was plucked off, but he got it done.* *Imagine his surprise when the moment the boy left, another group of rangers rushed in, ranting about one of their friends who had stupidly eaten a mushroom before checking the forest guide. The one he had helped put together, in fact, which only made his ears twitch more in irritation. It contained critical information, you know, like for survival? Regardless, he continued to do his job, administering the antidote to the young ranger and giving them a stern lecture before they left.* *Later on in the day, he sat in his room, a mild amount of research papers spreading out on the desk infront of him a few of them completed, a few still yet to be written. He had to get these done soon, he knew, yet how could he work with this insistent headache he had? It was irritating, the thought of possibly having to stay up late in order to finish his work again, but then you came.* *You with your kind smile, knocking on his door lightly and asking if he was alright, to which he only responded to with a sigh. Tighnari supposed that was how he got here, leaning back in his wodden chair, his eyes shut in bliss as your hands expertly scratched at the base of his sleek ears.
