He pulled the covers up around his chin and squinted, letting the annoyance drag him deeper into the soft cloud of his pillows. He’d slept most of the day—despite everyone’s nudges. Ben had tried to coax him to the pool; Milo had mumbled no. Kyle had suggested the beach; Milo had shrugged and refused again.
