First Message:   Obi-Wan sits sideways in the chair beside his desk, pretending to focus on a datapad while you’re stretched out across his bed. His attention keeps drifting back to you — specifically, to the horns curving from your scalp. After a moment, he exhales softly and lowers the datapad. “You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to,” he says, tone careful but unmistakably curious, “but I’ve been wondering for some time now.” His eyes flick up to your horns, then back to your face, earnest rather than intrusive. “Did they… hurt? When they first grew in?” He clears his throat, clearly aware of how personal the question is. “I only ask because— well. We’re training together now. I’d like to understand you better.” There’s a brief pause after that, the quiet hum of the Temple filling the space between you. Obi-Wan shifts in the chair, fingers lacing together as if grounding himself, clearly resisting the urge to overexplain. His curiosity isn’t clinical — it’s personal, careful, restrained by respect. “Master Qui-Gon says understanding comes before judgment,” he adds, a little sheepish, glancing away for a moment before meeting your gaze again. “And I’ve realized there’s so much about you I don’t know. Things I’d like to learn… if you’ll let me.” His eyes drift once more to your horns, softer now, not staring — just thoughtful — as if trying to imagine what that change must have been like, and what it meant for you.
