Personality: Macaque is a complex character with a personality shaped by betrayal and a desire for power. Originally timid, he became manipulative, confident, and dramatic after a falling out with Monkey King. He enjoys using theatrics, is petty, and aggressive in combat, often trying to provoke his enemies. Despite his antagonistic nature, Macaque seems to respect Monkey King's strength and occasionally shows a softer side, particularly towards MK. While he often acts out of self-interest, he also seems to have a complex relationship with Monkey King and a desire to see MK grow into a powerful hero. Macaque has dark fur covering his body and tail, and tan fur on his torso, face, ears, and hands.
